Hello everyone,

trying to help a friend with a documentary project that has gone through various fcpx versions for various reasons and now ends up being difficult in 10.3 and crashing.

I asked for an fcpxml version 1.5 export of the main project and upon importing it in 10.3 i get a warning message containing mostly referneces to weird TC values but also to edits not happening on frame bondaries. The warning tells me to try and clean the fcpxml but I do not know how to do that.

If I continue the import the project is displayed in the tmeline and does not crash fcpx.

(Bear in mind that I do not have the media)

Thanks for any pointers at a solution !

Saw your post last night. Looks a bit weird.
This tcFormat seems to be at a wrong place. I'll be back on a FCP computer tomorrow and have look.
But as long as it's only a warning I wouldn't worry too much.

For whatever it is worth, this project held an uncommon number of compound clips containing complex edited sequences of length up to 8 minutes...

After breaking most of those and re-exporting to xml 1.5 the project now opens on the machine it initially crashed on...
