Copy multiple markers from clip to multicam clip was created by ybr
Hi again,
Working on a two-camera run-and-gun show with mountains of material (7 days of pretty much constant rolling for one show). The director has gone through and organized the material with keywords and lots of markers to denote action and to add notes in the long camera takes.
This is all fine, but because of a lack of organization, the assistants had not done the multicam synching before the director did his job, so now, all those markers are buried inside the multicams. Is there a way to copy those markers from the clips to the corresponding Multicams? And, ideally on the Multicam clip in the browser because I really want to do all my work from the browser and not have to resort to (very long!) string outs.
It doesnt' look possible, but thought I'd try the collective wisdom of the hive-mind in case I've missed something.
Thanks,
Yves

Yes, it does. But my question is about c/p multiple markers at once.
Some clips have up to 7-8 markers because the clip is so long, and they need to be pasted at the same the timecode. Doing this process one marker at a time is way too time-consuming and not practical given the sheer amount of material.

Yes, we've been wanting Timecode Ruler markers for a long time. Fill out the feedback form.
One way I work around this when I need it, is put a place holder of some sort (I created one in Motion for this purpose, easier to use than a gap clip), connect it, place markers. Then if i have to move the clip it is connected to, hold the grave key ~ to override the connection.
