Synchronized Clips don't have Audio Enhancements (Loudness/Noise Reduction/Hum)?

Maybe i'm missing something here, but I seem to have run into an issue with 10.3. I took a talking head clip that I show and synched it into a Synchronized Clip with the Tuscan Audio Recorder audio file. I opened, the clip per usual and dropped down the volume of the original clip audio and raised the audio file up so it was the main primary audio. I then pulled the section I then started editing a project and included a piece of my synchronized clip. While there are still volume controls and a section for Audio Enhancements, I can't seem to actually access them. It has a magic wand tool for auto enhance, but there is way to access the Loudness/Noise Reduction/Hum controls on the synchronized clip in the inspector. I thought maybe it was hidden but I don't think it as as I can't unhide it in anyway. If I "Open Clip" and click specifically on the audio file I can adjust, but then I have to go BACK to the project when I'm done. Was this something that was changed in 10.3? Does anyone know why they did this?

You have to go into the sync clip and apply the enhancement to the specific channels. Multicam behaves the same way.

This seems more time consuming than my previous workflow. Sometimes I won't know that I need certain adjustments until i'm in the project and can hear it along with everything else (music, other tracks, etc). Also if my synchronized or multicam clip includes MULTIPLE clips inside it, it's a lot easier to apply a noise reduction or hum removal to all of them instead of copying attributes for each. Can I apply some of the same effects (loudness, hum removal, background noise) via audio effects/filters in some way or can they only be found as built into the clip level inspector?
