More problems with trying to edit music tracks.
As a workaround to the Open Clip problem I mentioned in an earlier post, I tried making a compound clip of a music track and editing inside the compound. However, when I do that the waveforms are diminished - very odd. Anyone else seen this behaviour?
This is the clip as a compound in my project.
When I open the compound it looks like this:

by the height of the fade handle it seems that the size of audio inside the compound clip is different then outside. just choose the audio only setting for the timeline on both and see if there's a difference
