Seems iZotope is having a big sale ending today (14 November)
I'm thinking of "Standard" because of additional plugins like DeVerb over the Plugin Pack.
Given that I already have CrumplePop's AudioDenoise and EchoRemover, are there advantages to iZotope's versions? Do the "Standard" features work in FCPX as plugins? Perhaps there are comparison reviews I'm unaware of.

From my experience the RX algorithms are definitely better than many others, that's why they are much more pricey.
You do take advantage of that extra quality too. There is always going to be a time when you get something substandard and having better algorithms means you will be able to push things harder and clean up more noise with less artefacts.
The other mob I would consider is Waves. They just may have it going for a good price on Black Friday too.

Thanks. I purchased iZotope RX 5 Audio Editor for about $236 (normally $349) yesterday.
Waves are interesting though. Quite a view noise reduction plugins I see. The only think I'm not seeing is something like DeVerb (reverb removal).

Yeah, you're right. They don't have a dereverb offering.... yet. But I wouldn't put it past them to do it one day.
There is however Zynaptic plugins, that have an Unveil product that does do a good job at removing reverb.
www.zynaptiq.com/audio-plug-ins/
On top of that, they also have product called Unfiltered which remorse strong resonances from a recorded signal. Then there is Unchirp which removes artefacts incurred from lossy compression of audio date or if someone's been a bit heavy handed with noise removal.
Neither of these two products I've seen elsewhere, so it makes them kind of unique, at the moment.
I actually ended up buying RX a while back, but if I hadn't of done that I would be considering using the Waves & Zynaptic plugins together.

you might want to see this before you buy if you're using FCPX 10.3 and Sierra. (Read the whole thread)

I'm one of those who can confirm the issue. Some of the plugins silence the tail end of the audio even thought the waveform shows normally.

The cheaper ones do, or excessive noise removal can do it as well.
If it kills a little bit of the reverb (natural acoustics of the space) you can always compliment it by running it through Space Designer and choosing an appropriate setting. It's like working with color, sometimes fixing one problem can crest another, but then you just add another process to correct that as well.
To do a proper job it rarely is just one simple process. Audio is no different.

This isn't related to reverb though.
It's De-clip, De-click, De-crackle. After a quick search around the interwebs, I noticed posts on FCPWORKS pointing to the same issue going back to early 2015. Still not fixed. The last second of audio is silent.

I use their Plugin package and have not had any problems on the last second of audio being silent. MacPro 2013, Sierra, FCPX 10.3.

@bobmax48 Please look at these two attached clips.
The first is without filter. The second is with De-click added. The last word is not heard even though there is no impact on the waveform.
The source is XAVC-L with PCM audio.

I havent heard the sample yet, but I do have a theory about it.
Some of the plugins induce latency, it could be that FCPX isn't compensating for it properly and the audio won't sound past the end of the region.
Just a theory.
As always most heavy lifting should ideally be done in a third party app anyway. Graphic effects and color grading are no different really.
