Is there a log file that shows the reasons for FCP Alert Icons?

I'm having a an issue after the 10.3 update where I am seeing alert icons on project and event icons, but no discernible reason why (described in another thread — nothing missing or strange inside the projects). Is there a log file or something that I can read, or any other way to get FCP to tell me what it thinks is wrong?

There have been other reports about this. In most cases these alert signs don't seem to have any reason and they go away after you have been working for awhile inside the projects and events.

Okay cool; thanks for the sanity check. Still it would be awesome if whenever there was an alert like this in the future you could drill down into some text that explained exactly what the possible issue was.

Totally agree. And it would be nice if the alert icons disappeared immediately once you solved the issue, which is not always the case now. Feedback page (-:
