mObject and FCPX 10.3 - Problem with textures.

Since updating to 10.3 i've discovered an issue with textures using MotionVFX's 3D plug-in 'mObject'.
Is this a thing that anyone else has noticed or is it just me ?
Textures appear distorted and flicker when there is movement. The example below is of four of the standard presets that come with mObject so it should be easy to compare if anyone who has it would be so kind as to check for me.

I reinstalled the plug-in after dicovering the bug, but the issue still persists.
Thanks guys.

I just tested the same titles that you have in your video, and on El Capitan they all render perfectly with FCPX 10.3. I did not see any of the texture artifacts in your video. Maybe on Sierra mObject will need an update.

Pielle wrote: I do not use "mobject" for a while. So I tried it, and Motion notified not find it anymore, so I opened my minstaller which has fixed a problem and has installed a new version 1.3.2. Now everything works fine.I use more or less your configuration but retina display.
Hope this can help you.
I hadn't used it for a while either. I mostly used mObject for 3D text but then the inbuilt 3D text capabilities in FCPX almost made it redundant. At the end of last week i was asked to create an animation of a Star Shaped Tetrahedron. I already had a .obj model as i'm into sacred geometry but when I looked in FCPX, all of the models and the plug in had disappeared.
Oddly, i could still launch the app from the Launcher so it was still there somewhere. I eventually found it in the Application support folder, moved it back to the applications folder and all of the models appeared again and the plug in worked except that the textures were malfunctioning.
I did a clean install of mObject but the issue - for me currently still persists.
I think i might try to re-install it again.
Many thanks for taking time out to look at this for me Pielle.
It is very much appreciated.
Steve.

FCPX.guru wrote: There's an mObject 2 that's supposed to be coming soon, I think I read. Just a side note.
Looking forward to seeing what that has to offer - thanks Ben.

Not a plugin that i use that often since Apple introduced native 3D text, but it's nice to know it's there and that you can work with 3D objects should the situation arise.

You have made me question what i thought was possible with shapes using Motions text extrusion capabilities.
I've worked through the parameters and figured out how you made this and it is genius.
Many many thanks.
( You've earnt some karma there my friend. )
