10.3 on second device. Pay again? was created by Navigator
I installed 10.3 on my iMac. Today I want to do a clean install on my MacBook. I contacted the App Store with the same login I used with my iMac. I can't download 10.3 for free on my MacBook but I have to pay again??

That should not happen. Check the Purchased page of the App Store and see if the application is there. If not log out of the store and log back in.

I believe that you can install FCP X (and other Apple software) on up to five different Apple computers. I have had FCP X running on two different MacBook Pros for most of the last two years. You might, however, have a problem installing a plugin on multiple computers. For example, Core Melt's policy for its plugins is that a different licence must be purchased for each computer it is installed and used on.
