Anyone know why my Logitec HD C920 camera is not recognized by FCP 10.3?

best to my knowledge, usb connected (web)cams are not supported by FCPX

Instead, launch the Quicktime Player and choose 'Record new movie' and import resulting mov when done into Final Cut.
