Clips With Optical Flow Won't Render (10.3)

I've got four clips on my timeline using optical flow. Two of them render fine, the other two won't render at all

I'm trying to export them out of FCPX to bring them into After Effects for tracking and really need to have the optical flow applied to the render before saving them out. When I do try to export I get a warning saying that optical flow has not rendered out.

I tried deleting all the render files, but that didn't work. Any other ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Ray

You do not need to render a Timeline to export it, at all.
If you open the Background Task manager, and see that Optical Flow has finished its analysis, then you're good to go. No rendering in the Timeline needed.

I've been having the same experience.
I noticed that when I checked the video quality tab on the retiming pop up, it lists pre-10.3 retimings as 'Optical Flow (Classic) so I just reset the timings to 100% and retimed them to what I want and then applied Optical flow again.

That said, I still get the error message, but as long as I've let the background task finish it's thing, the exports look as intended.

I'm having exactly the same problem. Can't export normally either. Usually you can export without rendering, but I am getting an error stating that Optical Flow wasn't able to render so continuing to export will result in poor quality.

So unfortunately, can't export, can't render, can't finish the project. (which is SUPER annoying since this is the very last clip of a long piece.

I tried pitching the render files and re-rendering but it didn't help. I also reset the timing to 100%. Was able to render no problem until I reset the speed to slower again, then it wouldn't render and the export problem reappeared.
UGH.

Hi Guru... normally you are correct. But this issue seems to be larger. Cannot export. Background manager does not show rendering occurring, nor do we see the customary "Analyzing for Optical Flow" text in the window. This is a totally unique problem that breaks the normal rules of operation.
