Hi since we shoot with a lot of cameras (multi) we sometimes run in a problem where one camera is in the picture of the other. We usually fix that with taking a still frame, removing the camera in Photoshop and overlaying the not moving part with a part of the still. Is there any usable plugin that can do that, like the leading tool in Photoshop?
Thanks

I don't know of any healing plugins, but there are cloning plugins to copy one screen area to another:

CoreMelt Editor's Tools: Clone Layer
CoreMelt SliceX: Object Remover
Lawn Road: Fast Mask Clone

You can also create your own clone by duplicating the clip, cropping it, feathering and moving it over the area to be masked.

I believe TrackX from Coremelt has an object replacement tool.

here's a demo on coremelts Vimeo chanel, using the free (!) version of SliceX
vimeo.com/153888645

(btw: the voice-over still puzzles me, sounds like a 12y old LOL)

… and it demoes the limitations:
you can NOT use a 'clean plate' as source for replacement, it always uses a part of the actual frame.

There's a native tool called 360 patch that does exactly that.
It's intended for 3d cameras, but whatever, works anyway. It's an effect that you add, remember to set patch region to "front" if not everything is stretched weird. Then just move source and target scrubbers until you position the patch above the problematic spot in your film. Then, all your clip will have that spot cloned. Amazing!
