newbie introduction

Hi all,

I didn't see a dedicated thread for intros, so I am posting it here. I've had a long time interest in editing as a hobby (family videos mostly) but within the past year my various ideas for short artistic films began to clutter my brain. many years ago I messed with sony vegas, more recently iMovie, and then just about 6 months ago made the leap to FCPX. I have been using Ripple training which I really like. My only hold back is having the time to put together my projects. I shoot every now and then, do some training (color correction now) and spend some time story boarding here and there.
