Hello everyone, I came to this forum as a desperate measure to try to resume my favorite video editor! Final Cut Pro X
I'm Brazilian and I don't speak English very well but come on!
I tried to open my FCP after upgrade from Mac OS X Sierra and I couldn't! Both the 10.2.3 as 10.3 won't open! The error report is below, if someone can help me! Grateful!

So you have 10.2.3 AND 10.3 installed on the same drive at the same time? Didn't know that was even possible.
Without more info about the only thing I can think of is un-installing both, then reinstalling just 10.3. Also trash prefs after install. I'm not sure this happens automatically when re-installing.

You can't have both inside the same folder at the same time, as they both have the same name.
I can assure you that 10.3 uses some updated code in the system (updated when it is installed), and that will give 10.2 hell. It seems the reverse is true.
Get "FCS Remover" free from Digital Rebellion (dot com). Use it to remove all traces of FCPX from your system. Install 10.3 again.

Hi! If you want to follow Jonathan's road (which is definitely worth a try) you might want to first go into your programs folder and find your old FCPX 10.2.3 --> right click and archive this software, then put the archive on an external disk. Just in case you want to install 10.2.3 again later on.
Jonathan, I have not tried it myself but have read of many users that are able to have both 10.2.3 and 10.3 working on their system. Not sure if they use it at the same time - but one after the other seems to be no problem at all as long as you give one of the apps a little different name (e.g. Final Cut Pro X old).
