Possible to add labels in FCP timeline? was created by fabyoga
Hi is there any possibility of adding labels in the FCP timeline? I want to do it, so that I have an idea of what each segment in the timeline is about? See screen below. I have been using the lower third title as a substitute, but it is not ideal, because I would have to delete them when exporting the file, because I dont want it to appear in the video of course. Is there any function like this?
Thanks,
Fabian

Just assign them a "Lables" video role, then don't include them in the export. Or use markers?

You could use the 'add marker' tab to add a 'to do' which will show up in your timeline Index otherwise you could use the updated Roles functionality to tag all your lower third titles so they can be turned on and off with a single click in the Timeline index 'Roles' tab.

Even if turned off in the Timeline Index, they are included in the export.
Thus the reason for creating multichannel QT exports in the Master File share window; you disable the role from being included with the exported file there.
