Anyone with third party NVIDIA cards noticed their 3D Texts are invisible both on timeline and exports? :( If 3D Text option is turned of then the texts are rendered happily but 2D. Also OSX Default Graphics driver renders texts in 3D.

I have to go back to 10.11.6.

Apple does not encourage to use nVidia web drivers I think. It may break the Metal render engine the say. So I2m back on default drivers.

I think it is not APPLE CL problem. ( the same problem exist with 10.3.1 or 10.3.2 FCPX.... IT IS rather a problematic BUG of webdriver !
On the other hand : when webdriver is deleted, the OSX driver can handle very well the 3 D text.

Also web driver might mess with Final Cut's own engine, or so I've heard.

Yes.
For me the same, if using Sierra/webdriver/ GTX760 or 780. (In Sierra use OSX default driver)

With El capitan, there is no problem.

I wish to know what is the situation with Sierra / GTX 1060 / 1080 / new pascal webdriver...
If anybody has experience please let me know !

It is strange that under Sierra there is no way to use CPU render for 3D, just GPU render. But the earlier webdrivers can not render the 3D openCL tasks on GPU, - so finally no render at all .
It is my idea only... May be the new driver with pascal video card...

Thank you !
