Having serious issues with Sony A7s II footage in projects in FCPX 10.3. Showing black in the timeline, and not playing in the browser. Drilling into the library via (show package contents) original media clips play and then freeze, both in quicktime and via quicklook. VLC is plays them fine.
My thinking is that it is the pro video codec update 2.0.5, so am investigating.
For anyone using this footage, just a heads up!!

Update: Reverting to Pro Video Formats 2.0.4 (by removing all the files in Library/Quicktime and reinstalling) has not fixed the issue. Footage is definitely fine, but both quicktime and FCPX 10.3 are struggling

Update 2: Looks like the update somehow messed with permissions on our RAID. Permissions fixed, everthing seems back to normal! Phew. Loving 10.3 (after a very scary hour or two) : )
