This update is great in a lot of ways. Still I feel Apple misfired a bit in the audio department.
You can now organise and view the audio in a timeline in many new ways (yay!), and with the mixing lanes it simulates something like submixes or groups. Some video's show a 'trick' to apply effects to an entire mixing lane using one big compound clip of the entire timeline.
But I was hoping for a role/lane mixer without the need of a compound clip. So you work with (and hear) all the effects WHILE editing. Going in and out of a compound clip isn't workable in a lot of situations.
Maybe it's something for 10.3.1. Do you guys feel the same? Or is there any workaround I missed?
