Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone of you had any experience with play backing ProRes 4444XQ file in UHD format? I'm trying to find a way to playback such files through a Kona Card but keeps on having drop frames during playback. The files are store in a Stornex San with a 4 gig finer connexion to my computer, so my first guess will be to rule out the speed of the disk (as I have a lot of throughput) Could it be related to my CPU? I'm running on a MacPro mid 2010 that has 64 gig of RAM and an ATI Radeon HD 5870
So anyone knows what is the sys req for realtime playback of UHD Prores444XQ files?
thanks a lot
Fred
