This is so basic I hesitate to even mention it, but here goes. When using keyboard commands to browse through a large library using filmstrip mode, we often want the skimmer to "play through" at fast speed and keep going across clip boundaries. Currently it won't do that.
While you can manually skip to the next/previous clip using CTRL-L and CTRL-J, if the skimmer hits the end of clip before doing that it will simply stop at the next clip. What's the big deal about this? Can't you just do an "L" a few times to re-engage fast playback in the Browser? Yes but if browsing through hundreds or thousands of clips that's a lot of keystrokes.
It also presents two different modes: if you press CTRL-L to advance to the next clip *before* the playhead hits the end, it will keep going at fast speed in the next clip. But if it hits the end and *then* you press CTRL-L, it will just stop at the beginning of the next clip.
A simple workaround for this is engage loop mode with CMD-L. Then when the skimmer hits the end of a clip it loops to the beginning which is visually obvious and you can advance to the next/prev clip with CTRL-L or CTRL-J, while maintaining fast playback.
