Can't export, no error messages, it just doesn't work, help!

Hey everyone. I'm stuck. I'm editing .264 directly off a usb drive. Editing projects, turning them into compound clips, adding a limiter, then exporting to a .264 preset I made in compressor. Everything was going well, did this to dozens of projects, then last night I noticed something new. Went to export a project and my background tasks menu showed it was rendering for an hour or two, no clue why, might not be relevent. Still managed to export a few projects even though it wouldn't show me my progress. Then bam. Nothing. I click share, select location ect. and nothing happens.

had to force quit the computer because final cut wouldn't respond. Started up this morning, same problem. I can still edit projects, just can't export. No error messages, it just doesn't do anything when I click "go".

If anyone has a clue what might be happening here I'd really appreciate it. Computer has plenty of storage space left.

Not sure how to delete my topic, but I fixed the problem.

How did you fix it? Someone else may have the same issue some day.
