Experience with editing growing files out of an Avid Isis.

I've got a potential project that involves 4 cameras being captured by Avid AirSpeed as it is being checked into an Avid Isis. If I was using the clients Avid system I would then be able to cut with one of those camera angles about 15 sec after record is pressed. It can't multicam those incoming streams though. I'd have to wait till recording is stopped.

So I have 2 questions:

1. Can FCPX combine 4 growing files into a multicam clip? (I know Peter Wiggins has done this with at least one growing file using softron?)

2. If the answer to question 1 is yes, has anyone done this in an Avid Isis environment?

Trying to get some skeptical Avid folk to let me bring a FCPX station into their mix.
