Hi, I'm new here and new to video making. I just made a video that I want to share around on facebook / youtube etc. I uploaded the same file to both these site and the YT one plays ok but the facebook version has terrible blurry definition.
I made the video on Final Cut Pro X. The settings for the original project are: 1080p HD, 1920x1080, 50p. I tried exporting and uploading to facebook at 720p HD, 1280x720, 50p but it did not improve. The 720p file size is about 500mb.
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how to best export this for facebook please?

Have you waited long enough? Both fb and yt starts converting the lowers first and shows this. If you wait, higher and higher quality is converted and displayed.
