Someone help - I'm losing my mind!

I've done this a million times. Something is not right - I'm ready to explode.

I create an event - I create a project. I try to drag some vide down to my project timeline and no matter what I try to bring down (video, JPGs, etc.) I get that annoying icon telling me that I am not allowed to bring it down. I have no idea why - maybe I'm doing something stupid - I really hope so.

Someone please help - I'm going insane!

… none is one telling a 'not allowed adding to timeline'…
Can you share a screen-grab of that message (cmd-shift-4) ?
