FX Factory still around?

Sorry that my first post is a bit negativ,e but I am having major problems with FX Factory. I have purchased many plug-ins over this last year, but since their recent upgrade (6.0) I am having serious issues. Most plug-ins simply don't work or are crashing my system. They will not respond to any of my support emails... just wondering if this is a common issue?

I purchased Epicolor after a trial recently (despite it causing numerous crashes) and I cannot get rid of the watermark... Have tried everything. Again no response from FX Factory. Really need to push some work out and getting a bit serious.

Any suggestions as to how I can resolve my plug-in issues. I have deleted and reinstalled from scratch to no avail. Running latest updates etc.

Are you on Sierra?

They have released 6.0 and then another 6.0 with a bug fix... A bit weird. Maybe you have the first 6.0? Then try downloading and reinstalling?

hmm, on contrary, fxfactory has an excellent track record in responsiveness …
Do you contact them from within the fxfactory.app, as suggested on their website?
fxfactory.com/support/

And first follow manouchos advice … here, no probs with fxfctory v6 and a few plugins ......

Thank you for your replies. I did upgrade to the 'new' 6.0 which did solve my original download issues. I am on Sierra which may be the core of my current issues. As far as support goes, I have been trying to contact them via the app but have not had replies to four seperate support tickets over 3 weeks. Dissapointing.

I think I've learnt my lesson... never upgrade an OS unless I have to. Don't rely on plug-ins for my work.

As a warning to others considering Epicolor... nice idea but it's obviously still a beta product. Maybe one for the future.

Really sorry to hear you are having trouble. My guess, something is blocking the FxFactory app on your machine from sending support tickets.

Please restart your machine, download the FxFactory installer again: fxfactory.com/download/ and run the installer and try again.

I'm not sure what your name is so I can't search our database, but we have no open support tickets in our system. We almost always reply within less than 24 hours during weekdays, no tickets go unanswered for weeks.

Aside from using the FxFactory app, you can also email us: support@fxfactory.com. If you experiences any crashes where you suspect a plugin, please email it to us.

Thanks very much for your reply. I have reinstalled again and will send another ticket. Epicolor still not working but other plug-ins are fine.

Not sure if I see your ticket because I still don't know your name or email. Can you please email support@fxfactory.com an reference this post... that way we can make sure we are actually getting the support tickets. Maybe something is blocking the FxFactory app from sending support tickets on your machine.
