Cannot get picture out of BMD Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt

Hi All, I am not sure what has happened whether an update has done something strange but for some reason I can not get picture out to the TV monitor from the BMD Intensity Shuttle via Thunderbolt.. I know it is working if I change the settings in the BMD software it shows on the TV.. If I use the BMD Media express app and drag a video file across it works perfectly... The strange part is I can get audio working from the timeline no problem just no picture, only a black screen... I have tried re installing BMD software, got the latest updates, also went back to a previous version to see if it was an issue but nothing will let me get picture out from the FCPX timeline... Very frustrating as I have to get clients to look at the edit screen at present...
Any suggestions from you super helpful gurus would be much appreciated.

The only thing I can recommend is restarting your computer. Not just logging out and back in, but a full reboot.

Blackmagic stuff is flaky at best. Not very well designed or built. A lot of times even Media Express will not see that my Intensity Shuttle Thunderbolt is there. Nor will Blackmagic's own Preference Pane. It shows up clear as day in the System Report but the apps still can't see it. Like I said, flaky at best. The only thing that will result in the Blackmagic device being seen by it's own software again is a full reboot.

You've got the AV output on? Getting audio sounds like it is the Mac output you are listening to.

Trash FCPX prefs? Reset the video out settings in the prefs?

Wow, after 2 weeks of trying everything I realised I did not have the A/V output ticked. What a crazy setup that is, everything is set in the preferences and for someone reason the A/V output must have become unchecked..
Anyway all good now, thanks to those who set me straight, much appreciated..
