Hi,

Does anyone know of an app or software that can extract a sequence xml form a .prproj file.

I don't now Premiere and I'll be damned if I'm going to pay for it just to export xmls!

I am getting an increasing number of jobs where I am supplied media and a .prproj file and I'm getting friends to open the file and export an xml for me. I then translate it using 7toX then open in FCPX.

If there are any relinking issues, I open and reconnect media in FCP7 then export an new xml, translate then go into X.

Anyone?

Hi James,

I don't know of any app that extracts XML from a premiere project file.

Wouldn't it be much easier to just ask the people who send you these projects to send you an XML as well? Creating an XML only takes 5 seconds, so I don't think this could be any problem.
