Audio is in sync, yet skim is out of sync. was created by flaminghick
2015 MBP, 10.2.2
Very strange glitch. The audio in the project is in sync, and plays in sync. The waveform is accurate.
When I skim along the clip, it's playing audio from a few seconds later, from the same clip.
When I go frame by frame, it's play audio from a few seconds later, from the same clip.
This would be fine if I wasn't animating mouths moving to the audio frame by frame!! AHHHH!!! '
Anyone have any ideas about what to do? THANKS!

Hi,
Is this happening to the first clip in your timeline? If so, this is a known bug. As a workaround try to insert a short gap clip (Opt W) before the first clip in the timeline, do your audio edit and when ready, delete the gap clip.
Here is another thread describing the problem:

Cheers,

I figured it's worth noting that attached audio is still out of sync when skimming even with a gap clip.
