FCPX Problems with still image files and formats was created by retepnikrap
Hi
thought I had cracked this by using .tif images instead of .png but looks like I still have the problem. On the corrupt background the background image is a .tif, stays like this for a couple of frames and then is ok. Previously I tried .png format images but similar problems and the corruption pops on and off for a few frames over 30 seconds or so. Tried .jpg and .gif similar problems other than the file breaks down in different places.
Heard somewhere that FCPX was fussy about file formats on still images so this may be a common problem, hopefully someone can help me find a solution.

FCP doesn't go GIS, but not problems with TIFFs and PNGs and JPEGs and PSDs. What are the specs of the media, including the resolution? What are the specs of your system including the graphics card?

That looks ok. Can you post the images that show the problem.
