Keyword & Search bug or features ?
being new to FCPX 10.2.3 I thought I could use the search elements in the following way.
Recording soccer games (like Karsten)
In addition to that trying to erase a wrong keyword "f" deletes the whole keywords and not only "f" which is even more strange or a know bug in Apples high end software product ?

If that's the case, you cannot "text search" for keywords. You have to do the checkbox search (which I hate). I've been selecting all the clips in a keyword collection and batch adding that same word in the notes filed so I can "text search" the keyword. It's a workaround for sure, until Apple adds the ability to free form text search keywords.

Yes, Emil my son is a keyword

Super strange that such basics things don't work. Will try to figure out what you mean with "batch adding". But thanks that it isn't my fault
Thanks for your reply and having a look at my post.

… as Dave allready told you - no misbehave, just wrong usage
And that 'box' he's mentioning is a mighty tool, mastermind Simon Ubsdall came up with the idea of a 'SuperSearchField', have a look:

thanks for replies. Coming from iM that helps to understand how FCPX works. Hopefully I am getting more used to it but already love the keywording function that I missed a couple of years in iM
Have a great weekend and again thanks for looking into my post
