FCPX on 2006 Mac Pro Running OSX Lion? was created by ryan.gardner
Hi, just wondering if anyone could help me? I'm looking at buying a second hand mac pro.
My question is will final cut pro x (10.2.3) work on a 2006/7 4-core Mac Pro with 16gb Ram?
If i were to buy it, Id also put a 480gb SSD in it.
The main thing is whether the latest version of final cut would work on OS X 10.7, or is it only the original versions of proX that will work on this OS?
Thanks,
Ryan

The current software requires a late version on Yosemite or El Capitan.

Sorry if I go off topic, but a mac-pro 2006/7 4 cores can work in Full HD native files?
or converting to pro-res work just as well?
naturally with the FCPX version 10.0 right?
thank you
