Hi Guys,
I'm trying to import a 500Mb video into FCP X and it keeps telling me I don't have enough disk space.
I have 400Gb space on the Mac Pro and 5 TB space on the external I'm running it from so can't work out where the error is coming from.
Does anyone know how to resolve this?

PS - I'm running FCPX 10.1.3 on El Capitain on a 2013 Mac Pro.

Are you importing to the external? How is it connected and formatted?

Did you recently make some room? When I deleted some stuff off my hard drive, I got the same thing, that I don't have enough disk space but I had plenty. I restarted and it fixed it. I think its a bug that is only affecting some of us
