Title plugin for cop show - noire - promo

Hi all,

I am cutting a promo/ youtube mashup for a TV show that is a comedy parody of a TV detective show.

I need to find a title plugin to do the text for the promo that fits well with that kind of genre.

Can anyone recommend a FCP x plugin that will help me achieve that kind of effect?

Sorry, but that's a pretty vague request. Can you give any more specifics of what your looking for? Maybe show us a few examples (even stills) of the effect you're looking for.

The audience can only appreaciate the parody, if it knows and realize the original. So, which show you like to parodize?

wikipedia lists ~1000 crime-shows, all different title sequences, dare to say there's no 'genre'-specific design. Imagine for a second Columbo (=no designed title sequence at all). NCIS LA (=lots of boom), The Mentalist (=8secs graphic design).
