Generator Skips With Transitions

I've asked this about a dozen times and I never get a solution. I've sent Apple Feedback as well. This has been an issue since the first 10.0.0 release. It's not just my computer either. It's on all of my co-workers computers. What The Hell!?!

It's Unlisted so that the general public doesn't see this.

Is it just this transition that does it? Do you see it in a cross dissolve? Does this only happen with the glimmer background? I can't reproduce the problem with the default or different glimmer settings.

1) It seems as though when a transition is applied it does it. Although, while doing this test I noticed it also does it when a title is overlapping.

2) No, this happens with any Generator Background.

3) It happens with the default background settings and adjusted settings.

All of us have noticed this with various versions of FCPX. 9/10 times it skips. Every now and then it works as it should.

Also, the skipping happens even when it's a Compound Clip.

A work-around is to lay down the Background Generator on the timeline for however long you need it and export it out. Then import it back in a video clip.

I'm uploading another screen capture. I'm trying to make the skip happen. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it doesn't.
The only thing I can figure is the length of the transition affects it.

Another thing that's annoying is when I cut or shorten a Background clip, it doesn't just shorten the clip, it speeds it up.
You can see this at around 6:20 with the Rays background.

Can't come to a conclusion from that except that some generators and some transition speeds seem more susceptible to it.

Yes, that's the correct behavior. It's like a scrolling title; the shorter it is the faster it is. Make it a compound clip and shorten the compound.
