For my latest project, a 10min demoing how beer is brewn at my sons school (yep, teenagers, brewing beer, with alcohol, legally, at a public highschool ... we're in Bavaria!), we noticed, the VO tells "78°C", the pic shows 24° ... oops, recording weeks ago, hmm? Handheld camera, of course ....

TrackX, yeah!!!
A quick drawing in Pixelmator, an easy tracking with TrackX in FCPX - done! Matches perfectly!

ok, wrong font, no animated reflections (could add that ...) - but, hey, for a school project!? No bad! ...
Own/using it for quiet a while, but always baffled by results .... :) :) :)

Thanks for the flowers, Ronny, but I did NOT well ;) - completely missed to record those 'important' shot, so FixItInPost means, someone made a failure before...

But it's literally done in minutes: exported the last frame of the clip, cropped to the display, 'clone-stamped' to get rid off the 24°, wrote the new text over it (plus some compo magic, Multiply, Opacity), soft edges... :

the really marvel did TrackX .. luckily, the object is clearly separated, so tracking backwards was successfully done on first shot... adding the PM.png, tweaking a bit size/postion - done!

What excites me: the cam makes some really goofy movements&rotations, all 6 axis involved, … and nobody notices my 'plaster' on first sight... even not on second sight.

Just imagine the same fix a few years ago… would ask for about 80 frames, painstaking, manual rotoscoping .. .. <sigh>

It looks great. You can't see it's fake, even on second look.
