Exporting Error - Rendering Error 10008

I'm having issues exporting a project I'm working on. The original media plays fine by itself, but when I try to export I keep getting the video rendering error 10008. From research that seems to be from black frames appearing in my timeline; they are no present in the original video file (which is a live recording saved as an .mp4 from Wirecast). I've tried new libraries and projects, deleting render files, and have not been able to correct the issue. Anyone ever experience this before?

As I recall, FCPX is stopping on the problematic frame in your project; in this case frame # 10008. Go to preferences in FCPX and set the timecode to read frames. Then go to that frame, zoom in on the timeline and delete that frame. Try the render again and see if it advances beyond that point. If it stops at a higher number, repeat the process. You may not be able to see the problem frame unless you're zoomed in really close.

What's strange is there aren't any black frames at 10008 or anywhere on my media. I do however see black frames almost every few frames when skimming in the timeline, but not when playing. What I ended up doing was re-encoding the file to an .mp4 again and imported that into a new project. I was then able to export successfully. While I'm glad I could get a finished file (most important), I wish I knew the reason FCPX was reading the file so oddly.
