Does anyone have any experience exporting XML out of FCPX and into FCP7? Any known bugs or strange occurrences?

Yes, this is pretty much the go to software for people wanting to go from FCP X to Final Cut Pro 7 and Premiere Pro. You can also do it in DaVinci Resolve but "X to CC" is more straight forward in my opinion.

Intelligent Assistance also makes "7 to X" if you want to go to FCP X from Final Cut Pro 7 and Premiere.
