Similar to the feature that allows annotation online in frame.io. Also show it working with a pad and stylus, i.e. iPad Pro and Apple Pencil. Wonder if it could actually be used for roto work to paint into the image and perhaps paint in masks a la Photoshop. Would be very interesting for motion graphics in Motion.

Looks like a great idea. Kind of like the annotation features of Preview embedded in FCPX and QuickTime in the first example. Well that's how I understand it anyway.

It'll be a great communication tool.

'Annotations' are also a strong indication for 'Collaboration' as a prio topic on the agenda of features

So just like the audio meters and mixer based on roles patent , this has been around since the start, the dev team hasn't incorporated it yet. It was filed 9 years ago. Apple has tons of patents they've not made into products yet. I'd not hold my breath.

Just as I was about to sell my Wacom tablet.

Would love to see these things actually implemented, though.
