BMD Ignoring FPX?

is BMD ignoring FPX? Cause on this page, they list a bunch of compatible applications, but no mention of FCP, legacy or X. Or am I missing something? They sure to seem to be supporting Adobe and Avid. And "Vegas"? Really?

If you choose a BM thunderbolt device FCPX will always be second in NLE list , for a long period BM USB 3 device were only made with windows driver now things have changed but I guess they still only certify Windows software AND their BM Resolve and BM media express on both OSX and Windows ...

That device doesn't need a driver for OS X. But, none of those products listed, which run on a Mac, need a driver installed, on the Mac. Just curious...

Why would you want such a device? It can't even capture 1080p60. Blackmagic Design technology is always behind the times.

I was using "driver " as a generic naming for the software, it is a "system pref" that nowadays also launches a configuration app: "desktop video utility" that permits to configure the device image standard frame rate and AV input/output. I never had any problem using my BM device with FCPX but mostly I need a BM device for broadcast monitoring of my color grading work in Davinci Resolve.


I don't care much about fancy frame rate I only work in these frame rate 24p 30p or 23.98 sometimes 29.97i ( I hate interlace ) but sometimes we must .
