Hi All,
My work has expanded as a Producer for Australia's (V8) Supercar Series.
Part of what I do is some VT insert work and I have been using FCP X as a (sneaky) aside from time to time.
I have used X for several years in post produced or long form content... but this is a different realm.
To be honest its a completely AVID establishment but I can't help but feel with FCP X's Metadata and Library structures it could have real potential in live environments in pushing content across coherently.
I know there's been issues with FCP X handling 'Growing Files' in the past, is this still the case?
How about the ability to push content to multiple EVS locations in a multi-truck (user) environment?
Thoughts?

Dean,
Yes EVS growing files work, but make sure you are on Multicam 12 at least.
I've had no problems in studio situations sending edits to EVS, got shash audio in one ob truck and in another larger different multi edit truck, the exports failed every time. Couldn't find out why as a rather old thinking engineer insisted it was FCPX as he had no interest in seeing it work and wobbling his Premiere empire.
