Hi there
My name is Kris and I'm new here so Hello to everyone!
I need your help guys. I migrate from my old PC with Premiere Pro CS6 to Mac with FCPX and have recent film edit done on premiere and now I want to export film to fcpx and do color grading. I was trying to play with xml files ctr. but no success. I decide to export whole film in best quality and import it to final cut. I was playing with different codecs and settings base on many opinions and I found that DNxHD 185 10bit RGB is the best compromise between quality and file size. With those settings my whole feature 75min film will be as big as almost 1tb. It's big file and I'm not sure is there any other option I could export it with the same quality. Or maybe instead exporting whole film at once I should export it in fragments. I just don't know. Everything is just based on my recent research. I add that film was shot on Canon dslr so maybe there is no point to export it this way. I believe you have better knowledge. Thanks for any help
Regards,
Kris

When you exported the XML from Premiere did you try the 7toX utility to convert it into a format FCP can read?

Hi Tom, thanks for reply. The problem is with the xml export itself, that's why I want to export master file.
