Simpler Subtitles and/or Captions in FCP X

I've been seeing a lot of posts lately about options to do subtitles in FCP X/Motion so I decided to throw in my 2 cents.

Taking SugarFx Subtitles as inspiration, I created subtitles throughout my project/timeline using Chapter Markers in FCP X then used Spherico's X-Type List to create .srt file from those markers. And finally using Spherico's X-Title Importer and .srt file, I brought subtitles back into FCP X as connected titles.

And then to create captions, use 3PlayMedia's Free CC Converter Tool to convert .srt to .scc to be used in COmpressor

I'm sure it's not a new idea but just wanted to share
