Sub Role names coming into timeline assigned to different tracks

Hi,
I'm editing a film right now, my 1st using FCPX and also using Roles. I'm running in to a problem with Sub Roles. I have 4 audio tracks that I selected and made into a Synchronized Clip. I opened that Synchronized Clip in its timeline, broke apart the clip items, then assigned each with a Sub Role (Boom, Lav -1, Lav -2, Lav-3).
I then took that Synchronized Clip and Selected the Video file and made another Synchronized clip to sync the video with the 4 audio tracks. I did this for each take and camera angle of the scene. Now when I start to edit the clips in from those Synchronized clips I made, In the timeline index when I select for example the track I assigned Lav-1 it shows in the index being assigned Boom. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if this is just a bug. Should I assign the roles after editing the clips in the Timeline?
Thanks!
Adam
