Hi all! Please help.
I'm working on a long-form wedding edit. About 1.5 hours long. All the clips play back fine in my timeline. BUT when I export, a bunch of clips "freeze" (ie video stops, audio keeps playing). I've tried many possible solutions:
- creating new Project and pasting clips into it
- creating new Project at a different frame rate (footage was shot in 29.97, tried exporting in 29.97 and 23.98)
- delete render files from project, re-render and export
- DVD / Master File exports (h.264, ProRes LT) all experience the same freeze issues.
Footage plays back in the timeline and event browser with NO issues.
Footage was shot on Canon 6D @ 1080 / 30fps IPB
Please help!! Thanks so much.

I'd export WITHOUT re-rendering. Render files are not needed for export, take extra time to create.
As for your immediate issue, I'd expect that with MPEG-2 files, they are difficult to play back. But a ProRes should play fine. That part baffles me. If the audio continues, I'd think it was purely a playback problem, not the file itself, off the top of my head.
Does this happen in the same place all the time, or in different places each time you try to play it back?
