motion tracking survey

I’m working on a preso about motion tracking, and I hope you all can offer some expert feedback. Now that we have various solutions for motion tracking in FCPX, I wonder what kinds of things people are tracking, and which tools you choose to do it:

Do you use Motion's built-in tracker?
Do you use a FCPX motion tracking plug-in, and if so, which ones?
Do you use a separate application outside of FCPX and/or Motion?
What kind of footage do you track?
What kind of effects are you making with that tracking data?
Any other reasons why you use motion tracking in your workflows?

- Yes, TrackX/SliceX/DriveX.

- Fashion, reality TV, documentary, promo, etc.
- A variety from taking text and graphics, to tracking particle emitters.
- In appropriate situations it is quick, easy, simple.

-Awesome effects that will blow people away and make them jelly of my skillz.

Rarely use Motion for tracking
Plugins: Slice-X and Track-X
Outside: I use Mocha Pro and After Effects Camera Tracker

A lot of screen replacement shots. ie computer screens, tablets, mobile phones.
Most of the time I use motion tracking is to retouch footage. ie Remove objectionable visual content.

- after switching from fcp7 to x never used motion for tracking
- after effects built in tracker, 3d camera tracker and sometimes mocha ae.
- Mostly dolly movement and handheld camera shots
- tracked text, object removal, sky replacement, screen replacement, tracked icons/infographics

- Motion rarely
- CoreMelt sometimes
- usually Fusion or Resolve (especially Fusion for flexibility)
- tracking things to be retouched or composits

Most of the plugins I tested are to "fiddly" for my taste and attention span
