OLED Touch Pad on new MacBook Pro and FCPX

Seems like a touch bar (if customizable) could do some pretty cool things with FCPX. The first thing that comes to mind is the skimmer, but also volume adjustments, even on the fly, effect adjustments and so on.

Interesting idea, would be fun. One thing he got wrong, is that you can now customize function keys, always have been able to do that. Not all are permanently assigned to OS functions (with always override app functions). FCP 7 used function keys extensively. But you have fewer of them on a laptop than you do on a full sized keyboard, so there's that inconsistency. But something like what he proposes would be fun to have. We will have to wait and see.

I'd love to do Siri voice commands for common, often used functions. If she was quick enough to out pace using the keyboard. But I doubt that would come any time soon, and would require an internet connection for use.
