Help! audio changes done in Multicam clip not coming over to project timeline

I posted about this last week with no replies, hoping some one can help me with this today. I edit a lot of Multicam clips and have only recently had this problem. When applying compressor settings or any other changes in a Multicam clip in the angle editor, the changes are not taking effect in the timeline. Please see pics. I've done this hundreds of times in the past with no issue. Why is this behaving this way now? I have the right audio selected in the channel configurator.

I'm not aware of any reason that wouldn't work, but your screenshot doesn't actually show in the inspector that a compressor effect is actually applied. I just see that you have it highlighted in the effects browser. If you did actually apply it and it is not carrying over to the project timeline you might try restarting FCPX holding down OPTION and COMMAND to delete the preferences.
