Output issues on FCPX 10.2.3

This may have been addressed already and if so I humbly apologize. I keep getting an error message every time I try to generate a Master File. It reads (which some of you may already have memorized LOL) that informs me I have offline or missing titles, effects or generators. And when I try to output a blu-ray it fails with the error code 60. Can anyone help. I have a deadline for a festival and I can't seem to get a file out of this program!

Thanks in advance. (or just point me to the right thread!)

I have seen that. I dismiss the dialogue box and export with no problems. The other thing that has sometimes helped is to make a snapshot of the project and export that. Usually I don't get that error then.

Hi Rita,
Welcome to the forums.
Sounds like you have some corrupted file, effect, or an actual missing file. The missing file should generate a warning icon.
Error 60 is a general I/O error. Could be several things.
First check your Diagnostic log files> ~Library>Logs>DiagnosticReports.
There is a program EtreCheck that can help interpret issues, you can download and run that. It may show up what is causing the problem. etrecheck.com/#about
These reports may point to out of date or incompatible 3rd party plug-ins/effects or to corrupted clips.
Finally, you can attempt to trouble shoot it yourself. You could try a new user account.
Export half the timeline and see if issue goes away, then the the other half and then narrow it down till you find the problem.
All of this just takes time and persistence.
Finally, don't try to burn directly from FCPX, but export to the desktop and then right click to burn. Separating the creation of the file from the actual burning can help. It also means you have a copy ready to go if you need to burn more without having to open FCPX and exporting (share) again.

Hope this helps, Greg
