Getting rid of audio plugine was created by Ede
Hi,
I am getting crazy by removing audio plugins from FCPX, which I cant remove.
Eg. I have some Line6-guitar-effect plugins which are useless in FCPX.
I have deleted ALL what I could (by finder searching) find named Line6 and associated files, also in the FCPX application support files, etc.
But its like a bad spell - the plugins wont dissappear in FCPX.
Does anyone have a hint for me, where the plugins could be hidden??
THX!

FCPX reads all Audio Unit plugins, as does Logic Pro X and Garage Band. You need to do a proper removal. You may be finding some of the system files, but obviously not all. I'd contact Line 6 tech support and find out how to do that.
FYI, I have a Line 6 guitar (which is up for sale), great ax, but I never installed the plugins.
Yeah, Line 6 can tell you what components you may be missing to uninstall it.

Are you looking under Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components? That's usually where all the audio plug-ins are. Also, the Line 6 is usually named "POD Farm" or "PODFarm.component" etc. You probably wouldn't find it searching for Line 6. Hope this helps.
