Hello,
My own fault for not being entirely ruthless with my organisation of my files, but, alas... I'm hoping to be able to move the files that are stored on my Mac HD to one of my connected drives i'm using for this project. Is there any way of doing this other than consolidation everything into the library?
Many thanks for any help. The reason behind it is i've been away and am now looking to edit on my iMac back at home in the office.

If your library is set to external folders and "leave files in place..."
Back up your library.
Move the files in question to one of your external drives. (Move, don´t copy)
Choose: "Relink Files..." from the menu and point the dialogue to the folder where you moved your files.

That's the way I thought, I was hoping there was a way to just move those specific files. If there isn't seems like that would be a nice addition to an update maybe.
