SURROUND MIXING USING FCPX!

Hi,

I’m Sreekumar Nair. An editor / colourist , also an Apple Certified Pro, Final Cut Pro X.
I’ve been using Final Cut Pro X since day one the software got released.
Now I want to experiment more with Final Cut Pro X by doing the 5.1 surround sound mix.
I’ve been searching for sound cards for audio monitoring.
Universal Audio’s Apollo 8 Duo was my primary choice until I’ve gone through the technical specs of AJA IO 4K.
Currently the video card I’m using is Black Magic Ultra Studio 4K.

So my question is can I do surround sound mixing and monitoring (5.1 or 7.1) using Final Cut Pro X, if AJA IO 4K is the card I’m using?
Is there any problems in terms of quality for the audio if I do so?
Is there any difference using a dedicated Audio card (like Appolo 8 / Appoge) for surround mixing than AJA IO 4K?
Is the "DB25 connector with eight channels of audio” of IO 4K a perfect choice for surround sound monitoring & mixing?

Also I’ve an issue in monitoring with the current hardware I’m using. (Blackmagic Ultra Studio 4K)
I’ve connected a projector from the HDMI output of Ultra Studio 4K.
Most of the projects I work is a 2.35 aspect. (2048*872)
When my project settings is in 2048 * 872 the projection will be squeezed as the viewers won’t get updated with my current hardware.
But this problem is not there when I use another software(Resolve). So what I understood is, its a compatibility issue with Final Cut Pro X and Blackmagic hardware.
If I use AJA IO 4K instead of the ULTRASTUDIO 4K, will this issue get solved?

I hope you’ll be able to help me sort this.

Thanks in Advance,
Sreekumar Nair
